Regency Ceramics Ltd. is a versatile ceramic tile company with over twenty five years of experience in the art of fine living. The company is also the largest exporter of ceramic tiles in India.

Regency Ceramics, a pioneer in the Indian tiles industry, was formed in collaboration with Welko Industriale Spa, Italy – leaders in ceramic manufacturing equipment. The company was established in the year 1983 under the leadership Dr G.N. Naidu who foresaw the evolution of Indian aesthetic sense and demand for high quality inspiring and advanced tiles for floor, walls and exteriors.

Since its inception, the company has been moving ahead relentlessly in pursuit of excellence. Started with a capacity to manufacture 4000 sq.m. per day, today the company has one of the largest manufacturing capacities in ceramic tiles with a daily production exceeding 44,000 sq.m.

Regency has two modern manufacturing facilities; offices in all metros and tier two cities; in addition 700 dealers across all over India to ensure efficient, smooth and seamless operations. The manufacturing facilities are located in Yanam and Karaikal (UT of Pondicherry) with state of the art manufacturing equipments to ensure that the tiles are consistent with benchmark quality, reliability and stylish pattern. The company is also in the process of establishing manufacturing lines in China and Italy to cater to Indian customers with high end products.

Quality Accreditations and Certificates

Regency strongly recognizes the importance of certification programs to build competencies, quality of service and products. The company is the first in the ceramic industry to receive OHSAS 18001 certification for its commitment to implement the international standards in occupational health and practicing the safe management specifications.

Environmental conservation has always been an integral part of the company’s commitment to improved sustainability. Accordingly, the company’s environmental policy is embedded in its strategies and process. These have led to the certification of ISO14001 by the Environmental Management System (EMS), DNV, Netherlands.

For its continued efforts in implementing product reformulation, process modification and redesigning the equipment, the company has been awarded ISO certificates several times, the very last audit was in April 2010 for which the company was recertified as per standard revision of ISO 9001:2008


The strength of the company lies in its strong focus on innovation.
